Creative coding workshops and lectures

Creative coding expands the repertoire of art and design practices with new digital tools. NODE20 hosts the fresh NODE Institute professional education program with more than 25 hands-on online workshops on creative coding. They are run by leading figures of our community, digital artists, designers and coders.

Join the festival and experiment with digital and analog tools to broaden your skills!
We are currently working on a detailed schedule and will add further workshops over the coming weeks.

Be part of
a vibrant community of software creatives

NODE’s core community originates from the creative coders around the visual programming toolkit vvvv. We are connected by heart with the makers, contributors and thinkers around a software that enables us to do so many things. Therefore, almost all our workshops are based on this visual development environment, too.

If you are new to vvvv, don’t worry: We will introduce you to this application and show you the essentials for easily prototyping interactive media installations and other ideas.

If you are already familiar with vvvv or have experience in similar creative coding software (like Processing, openFrameworks, Touchdesigner, Cinder, etc.) our workshops will serve you as well.
